I choreographed puppets for a stop-motion animation music video and it's so beautiful!

Inspired by an unlikely compliment, this stop-motion animation takes place in the scullery of Google's corporate headquarters and looks to explore the relationship between two laborers while trying to answer the question: can hands dance?

I had the honor and pleasure of working on this stop motion animation music video with Kieran Ionescu for the Lonesome Leash song Like Some Machine last winter. It was an invitation by my brother-in-law, a very gifted artist and deeply thoughtful person, to participate in a process and collaboration together. Along with the beautiful music and my favorite dance partner Leah Wills, we worked to develop a movement vocabulary to inform the puppets of their personalities and characters. I loved working on this project and am very proud of the final result. Thank you Kieran, Walt (Lonesome Leash), and Leah.
